has filed for the Non-Profit Classification. Under
the new 501(c)(3) designation we will be able host
many more events all year round, allowing women to
have more local outlets for personal growth, fun and
friendship.

debuted online in August of 2004, giving women from
North Carolina & South Carolina a place to find
friends, local events, bars & clubs, community
resources, and support. We are dedicated to bringing
lesbian and bisexual women together in fun, friendship
and community. "Where Women Come Together"
has been our driving mission since the very first
day. Everything we do and everything we hope for is
making our little space online a valuable resource
for all women in the Southeast Region and build a
community like no other.
In
August of 2005 we hosted the 1st Annual Women-In The
Woods Weekend in Canon, GA at the In The Woods Campground
Resort. This has become a yearly event for us. We
will be hosting our 3rd Annual event this summer and
look forward to bringing wonderful entertainment,
local vendors, games, contests and much, much more.
We
are proud to be joining forces with other lesbian/gay
groups, organizations and businesses in our quest
to solidify our community. We hope that you will join
us. We are currently in our fundraising stages and
hope that everyone will help us accomplish our goals.
